Dave - Director, Occupational Therapist and Equine Assisted Psychotherapist

Our founding Director and Senior Occupational Therapist, Dave, is also a passionate equine and animal-assisted psychotherapist. Dave feels incredibly fortunate to work alongside his beloved horses, Stellar and Maldon, and his faithful dogs, Pokey and Pickles, offering a unique therapy approach to nurturing connection and growth.

Dave thrives on assisting individuals to navigate supportive and challenging environments and find comfort in the power of quiet moments, providing space to breathe and reflect. Specialising in holistic mental health, self-regulation, and co-regulation, Dave supports adolescents and emerging adults across employment, study, travel, Supported Independent Living and Specialised Disability Accommodation, positive sexuality, and building safe and reciprocal intimate relationships.

Dave participates in ongoing psychotherapy education to ensure his trauma-informed and holistic approach. At Bravo Allied Health, Dave takes pride in mentoring and supervising students and emerging therapists, assisting them to put their latest tertiary-recognised training into practice.

  • Georgia - Regional Lead, Senior Speech Language Pathologist

    Georgia is a trauma-aware and neuro-affirming therapist who combines personal and professional experience to provide well-informed speech-language therapy. She is actively engaged in ongoing professional development and tertiary education, including counselling and postgraduate qualifications in autism studies. Georgia’s special working interest is in the presentation and experiences of neurodivergence, particularly autism and ADHD.

    Georgia aims to align the therapy she provides with the strengths, interests, preferences, and goals of the individuals she works with. She provides targeted support for expressive communication (for example: speech, language, self-advocacy, conversation skills), receptive communication (for example: receptive language, processing and comprehending information, exploring perspectives), social communication (for example: pragmatic skills and differences, metacommunication, adapting communication across social contexts and relationships), and social connection (for example: navigating a range of social and communicative environments and interactions).

    Georgia's works predominantly via telehealth (videocall) from 4-7pm Monday-Friday.

  • RIta - Occupational Therapist

    Rita's journey with us began during her final clinical placement, where her values resonated closely with ours, leading us to invite her to join the team.

    Rita brings exceptional organisational skills and a passion for neuro-affirming approaches, ensuring personalised support for each individual’s unique needs. Her professional and educational background enables innovative support across various goals, creating strong professional relationships and crafting resources for neurodivergence and mental health.

    Beyond her professional endeavours, Rita finds solace in nature, often embarking on camping trips to explore the breathtaking countryside of the Victorian Goldfields on Dja Dja Wurrung country. She is eager to support individuals in discovering the therapeutic benefits of their own environments and surroundings.

  • Nick - Speech Language Pathologist

    Fascinated by language and communication, Nick chose a career in speech pathology to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. He is passionate about discovering innovative and creative ways to help individuals successfully navigate social and communicative situations, while continuously expanding his expertise in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) options.

    Nick thrives on collaboration, working enthusiastically with participants of all ages to enrich their journeys. With a background in film, television, and community theatre, he brings a unique creative flair to his practice. Incorporating play, music, and drama into therapy, he particularly enjoys supporting younger clients in engaging and imaginative ways.

    In his spare time, Nick performs with his local community theatre group and enjoys playing the guitar. With dedication, innovation, and a genuine passion for his work, Nick provides meaningful and impactful therapeutic experiences for participants at Bravo Allied Health.

  • Will - Therapy Assistant

    Will, our relatable Occupational Therapy Assistant, collaborates closely with our Occupational Therapists, empowering participants to achieve daily goals. He plays a pivotal role in delivering focused interventions, optimising funded therapy budgets, and fostering positive social relationships and meaningful routines.

    Currently pursuing Occupational Therapy studies at Latrobe University, Will is driven by his conviction that this profession allows him to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Outside academics, Will finds fulfilment in family time, footy matches, and staying active. His passion lies in engaging with participants and supporting them to realise their goals.

    Will's commitment to empowering individuals and genuine care for their well-being shine through, making him an integral part of our team dedicated to positively impacting our community.

  • Pokey and Pickles - Therapy Supporters + Tail Waggers

    Meet Pokey and Pickles, our beloved canine companions at Bravo Allied Health! These furry friends bring comfort and joy with their gentle presence and wagging tails to our animal assisted psychotherapy participants.

    Always ready to lend a paw during therapy sessions, Pokey and Pickles help welcome and include all they meet. When not spreading happiness, they love exploring the outdoors and spending time with their humans and horses on the farm.

    Pokey and Pickles embody courage, trust, and respect, enriching the lives of our participants every day.

  • Bailey - Occupational Therapist

    A self-described 'nerd,' Bailey is passionate about supporting others to engage in activities that bring them a sense of joy.

    He believes our well-being is closely tied to the things we do, and being able to help others find purpose in their daily activities brings him genuine fulfilment.

    With a deep love for his two dogs, Sonny and Monty, and his wife Claire, Bailey is an avid gamer who has been playing games like World of Warcraft for 15 years. He's also a self-proclaimed massive Lord of the Rings and Pokémon nerd.

    Bailey particularly enjoys working with teenagers and young adults with autism. As an autistic person himself, he feels he can develop deep and authentic clinical relationships with young people, supporting them to get the most out of life while navigating any challenges they face.
